Attributes of God
This course looks at some of the key attributes of God, offering a variety of lessons aimed at improving reading. listening, writing and speaking skills. Level: Intermediate (B2)

Common Expressions and Idioms
Learn some common expressions that people use today that come from the Bible. Some examples include: Go the extra mile, fight the good fight, rise and shine, and forbidden fruit. (Level: Intermediate)

Dealing with Difficult People
Ever have someone in your life who makes things difficult? This course looks at different ways to deal with these situations, while also teaching English language skills. Level: Intermediate (B2)

ESL and Baking
This course teaches you the vocabulary needed for baking and gives you a video demonstration of making chocolate chip cookies. A Bible lesson at the end talks about what Jesus means when He says He is the Bread of Life.

ESL and Cooking Dinner
Watch and learn all about cooking dinner. Afterwards, learn about what the Bible says about hospitality. Level: B1 and B2 (Intermediate)

ESL and Grocery Shopping
Level: High Beginning/Low Intermediate. Learn key vocabulary and conversations for buying groceries! Also look at some verses in the Bible that talk about food.

ESL and Restaurants
Level: Intermediate (B1 and B2). Learn how to read a menu and order a meal. Also learn restaurant vocabulary and what the Bible says about serving.

Fighting your Anxieties
Digging deeper into key Bible verses about anxiety, this course helps you to address and talk about your fears.

How to Start a Conversation
Level: High Beginning. What do you say when you first meet someone? How do you start a deep conversation? What does the Bible have to say about speech? These and other questions are addressed in this course.

Learning and Teaching English through the Bible (Beginning Level: Course 2)
Based on the book, Learning and Teaching English through the Bible: A Pictorial Approach, this course uses the beginning level pages and adds practice exercises for each topic. Course 2 is set within the Biblical topics of: The Fall, Flood, Abraham, Sarah and Moses.

Overview of the New Testament
Level: High Beginning (A2). This course gives you summary statements for each book and basic activities, such as alphabetic sorts.

Parable of The Good Samaritan
Learn all about the Parable of the Good Samaritan while also learning key vocabulary, the simple past tense, and pronunciation of -ed endings. (A role play script (3 students) and pronunciation game (4 students) are also provided for small groups.) Level: Intermediate

The Alphabet, Nouns, and Creation
Learn the sounds of the alphabet, practice spelling names, introduce others, learn about nouns and the days of Creation. Using some of the popular pages from Learning and Teaching English through the Bible: A Pictorial Approach, this course adds practice exercises for each topic. Level: Beginning (A2)

The Fig Tree
This lesson looks at Luke 13 (the Parable of the Fig Tree) and digs deeper into the concept of "repentance." Lessons in the 4 skill areas (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) are included. Level: Advanced (C1)

The Great Story
Watch a video from Truth for Life to learn about the overarching story of the Bible in 4 topics: Creation, Fall, Rescue, and Restoration. Answer listening comprehension questions. Level: Intermediate (B2)
